Memories Can Be Erased and Stored
“Ba” Tutma said, but was cut off by what she was seeing, Jake was kissing another girl.
“You’ve been dressing up the truth, I’ve been dressing up for you. Then you leave me in this room, this room,” sings Tutma.
(Next day)
“Pour a glass and bite my tongue. You say I’m the only one. If that’s true, then why are you running? Why are you running? Oowhoa,” sings Tutma.
(Next day)
“If you really want this, why are you acting like a stranger? What’s with your behavior? Oowhoa,” continues Tutma. “Say my name, say my name. If you love me, let me hear you. I feel alone in your arms, I feel you breaking my heart. Say my name, say my name. If you love me, let me hear you.
“Are you okay?” says a mysterious person.
“Yeah. Who are you?” replies Tutma.
“The name is Pushkar,” answers Pushkar.
Then he kneels down in front of Tutma.
“Who was that man you were singing to?” asks Pushkar.
“My husband Jake with his new girlfriend,” replies Tutma.
“ Usually a song makes me happy. Do you know the language, ‘Marathi’?, asks Pushkar.
“Yes,” replies Tutma.
Pushkar begins to sing,
“Tick, tick a vajate dokyat, dhad dhad vadhate thokyat. Kadhi Jami kadhi nabhi sampate antar zokyat Tik Tik a vajate Dokyat, Dhad Dhad vadhate thokyat, kadhi Jami,” sings Pushkar.
“ I think I know this song,” acknowledges Tutam.
“Great- hop on in whenever your ready!” “Tik tik vajate dokyat dhad dhad.” (Pushkar closes his eyes)
“I can’t live without Tutam,” the mind of Jake screams.
(Tutam joins in both Pushkar and Tutam turns around to look at Pushkar. His eyes are still closed.)
“Kadhi jami kadhi nabhi sampte antar zokyat,” fininishes Pushkar and Tutam.
Pushkar opens his eyes and sees Jake.
“Leave now, you don’t deserve her after what you did,” says Pushkar.
Jake leaves.
“Thank you! Nice singing,” exclaimsTutma.
“You’re welcome, and thank you. My mom always tells me that my voice is like an angel,” says Pushkar. “Well, it’s getting late. Let’s get home. I’ll walk you home.”
