The Trouble“The trouble” happened on a weekend about five weeks ago. It was about 7:00 p.m. and I was playing soccer with my dad in our yard. One time Dad kicked the ball and I tried to make a diving catch. But we have a concrete wall, and apparently, I didn’t realize that I was too close to it before it was too late. I SMACKED my head right into it! My dad immediately came running over and I turned around. I kept yelling, “No!” over and over again and was crying. My dad gave me his sweatshirt to stop all the blood. I went inside my house with him and went upstairs. My mom saw my head and it took about 20 minutes to stop the blood. Surprisingly and luckily, though, I didn’t have a concussion. That’s the end of this. I still remember it like it was yesterday. That’s how I got the scars on my face.

The Sun
I’m burning hot, but I must stop when it gets dark. I am very lonely, for I have never been visited. But, I like myself, because I can burn; however, my opposite, the moon, cannot.
